Glossary

The words the app uses — Kard, Domain, TJB, TSB, Meridian and friends.

At a glance

Nineteen words this app uses a specific way, A to Z. Each one links to the topic that explains it in full — this page is the fast definition, not the whole story.

The Glossary

TermWhat it means
Command Center The grid of one-click buttons below the sidebar search — almost everything in the app is one click away from here.
Command Palette One search box (Ctrl+K) for commands, Kards, tools and Domains — the fastest way to reach anything by typing.
Demo data The eight sample Kards the app ships with, so there's something real to read on day one; Reset Kard Library clears them along with everything else in your library.
Domain The top level of how your Kards are organized — every Kard belongs to exactly one, shown as a color-coded row in the sidebar.
Event Console The app's flight recorder — a running, searchable log of what happened and when, with secrets scrubbed before anything is written.
Field Guide The collapsible explainer panel built into most Toolbox tools — what it's for, how to read what you see, and its honest limits, tool by tool.
Fit score How well a prompt technique matches your topic and classification, from 0 to 100. It ranks the gold, silver and bronze picks in the AI Kard Generator and appears on the Fit chip beside the estimated price. Guidance only: it changes neither the price nor the Kard.
Focus Mode Strips the screen down to just the work in front of you — Alt+F to enter and leave.
Integrity Check A read-only health screen — PASS, WARN or FAIL for your Kard data, backups, logging and core modules — that never changes anything itself.
Kard A self-contained guide that walks you through one task or problem, stage by stage — written by the AI Generator, imported, or one of the demo set.
Kashic Hub The panel behind the Kashic logo — quick actions, modes, backups, diagnostics, and About, all in one place.
Labels Tags shown on a Kard's tile describing what it covers — two rows fit on a grid tile, one on a list row, and a +N chip counts any beyond them. Type tag:something into search to filter by one.
Meridian The time strip above the boards — your clock, a row of other cities, and a click-to-schedule shortcut across zones.
Privacy Mode Masks sensitive text on screen the moment someone walks up — Alt+P to flip it on or off.
Session A block of tracked, timed work on a ticket, started with ▶ Start Session — the timer is wall-clock honest, so it can't quietly undercount time in a background tab.
Severity A ticket's priority lane on the board — Low, Medium, High or Critical — set when you log it, and changeable anytime by dragging the card or editing the ticket.
SKU A licensable Microsoft 365 product (a "stock keeping unit"); the Tenant Licensing tool's SKU Catalog holds 61 of them as a read-only capability reference, not a price sheet.
Subcategory An optional second level inside a Domain — for example, DNS Resolution inside Network Infrastructure — for splitting a busy Domain further.
TJB The Ticket Board — a deliberately lightweight mini-ticket system for logging and working what you're on right now, not a full PSA.
TSB The Schedule Board — the time-mastery half of the app: plan your day against a real clock, then see how it actually went.
